A Most Positive Start to 2014

After an outstanding finish to 2013 we are pleased to be able to report that the first four months of 2014 have shown a continued growth in the level of enquiries from prospective buyers and a subsequent increase in the number of sales agreed. Although this indicates that the property market is improving we know that buyers have a wide choice of property and are now very discerning when deciding which property to view. Our Letting and Management Department has shown consistent growth and are delighted to have been approached by a major national company asking for professional assistance in finding good rental property for their incoming employees and senior management. We urgently require quality rental property to fulfil demand from these and many more waiting clients.

The Internet has transformed the way we search for our dream property. This has brought a new challenge which estate agents have reacted to in differing ways. Many still carry on their business as if nothing has changed. Crook and Blight have embraced the opportunities which the new digital era presents. We are a top Rightmove agent. More people click onto our properties on Rightmove than they do via any other agent in our area. Our professional approach to marketing, together with outstanding photographs, has meant that we have been able to hold the top slot on Rightmove almost consistently for over four years. We use Facebook and have a strong following on Twitter. This level of up to date and proactive marketing will increase the chances of selling your property and is another reason why it would be wise to discuss your proposed sale with us before choosing your agent.

We are experiencing demand which is well in excess of supply in certain areas. Our clients are very demanding and are being very selective with their purchase, however we are selling more and more properties within weeks of them coming onto the market and still have registered buyers waiting to proceed.
